Hard news was leveraged when available, augmented by more creative news angles, including technology proof-of-concept test results, strategic partnerships, and the receipt of patent protection. This approach was supported by positioning news on an exclusive basis with key space media to increase coverage potential, as well as highlighting client’s relationship to influencial strategic partners.
Riotmind leveraged existing relationships with the space media to accelerate coverage of the company, securing the first media hits shortly after program launch. Press outreach efforts continued to gain traction, but a slowdown in hard news required a pivot from immediate returns to longer-term gains through a Thought Leadership platform with a longer lifespan and greater relevance to diverse marketing channels.
